This is an international sailing race that takes place in the Gulf of Trieste. More than 25.000 sailors come to Trieste to run the competition for a total amount of more than 250.000 people. The Gulf of Trieste is a real Stadium thanks to the karstic plateau from where thousands of people overlook towards the sea to enjoy the show of the sails.

The medieval village of Venzone enlivens of musicians, jugglers, fire-eaters, noblewomen and knights, charachters like the "Duca della zucca ", and the members of the "Sacra Arci Confraternita della Zucca", and many others. The protagonist is the pumpkin: in the places, taverns and stands of Venzone the visitor can find pumpkins cooked in several ways.
Manifestation organised by the "Consorzio per la salvaguardia dei Castelli Storici del Friuli Venezia Giulia " every spring and autumn, to ease the access to public-or-private-owned castles and similar buldings, that are usually closed to the public.
